We have a few remaining rods on hand and all of them are on deep sale. We will keep this site open for the sale of our remaining replacement sections for our ZX2, ZX3, ZX4, ZX Micro, and the Monster line of rods for as long as we have parts in inventory.
The End of an Era
It has been an absolute pleasure to serve the Tenkara and Fixed Line community for the last decade. But alas, all good things must come to an end. Rob and I have decided to close the doors on the Riverworks operation to pursue other projects.
I cannot adequately give enough thanks to our loyal customers and supporters across the globe. You all, and you know who you are, are the reason that Riverworks has done what we have done over the last decade. I am proud of the rods that I have crafted, and I believe that we as a company have had a positive effect on the community and the way that people fish with fixed line and Tenkara rods. Our customers have purchased our rods from all corners of the globe and we are blessed to have had such a great group of loyal customers. You guys have made for an incredible journey, and I am blessed to have served you all.
A huge thanks to my friend and the leader of product development for Riverworks- Dr. Rob Worthing. Thank you for the support and all you have done to bring the Riverworks Rods to life. Rob is without question the most accomplished Tenkara angler in the US (if not the world) and an extraordinary teacher and ambassador of the sport. I couldn't have asked for a better person to run the product development side of the business over these last years. Thank you brother..
Big Thanks to Luong Tam of Tanuki. Luong facilitated the creation of some great Riverworks blanks over the years and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Luong and his partners overseas to create some fantastic rod blanks for us over the years.

Please Note: The Tanuki Barebones Nymphing 360CM rod was built on the same mandrel as the ZX2 and the ZX3. There are some subtle differences as far as material thickness, but this does very little to affect the action of the rod when substituting Tanuki Barebones Nymphing 360 replacement sections for ZX2/ZX3 sections. There will of course be a difference in color (the Barebones rod has a raw or natural carbon fiber color) and there will be a 1" section of blue paint on the top of the section. IF YOU NEED A 2nd or 3rd SECTION FOR YOUR ZX2/ZX3 in the SILVER variant, these are the only compatible replacement sections available.
